Why Hannah is special to me

Hannah has always caught my interest...even as a child. She prayed so hard for a child and did not get one early in life. After being accussed by a preist for being drunk in church; though she was only praying fervently, she is granted her hearts desire. She raised her one son to honour and serve God and gave him to the temple. What a sacrifice! I suppose the giving him up seems to be the hardest thing to grasp here but I think her prayers are. What an example of fervent prayers! In her heart she was dedicated to God and trained her son to likewise. Incredible!
