Char - Musical

Charmayne and Shaylene were in a second musical this year called "Holy Moses" They both did very well. Charmayne had a major role and had lots of lines plus a solo. She did very well. Her voice is very beautiful. Her godfather came and was very impressed with her - she used some volume !!!! Way to go! Shaylene touch up the challenge and memorized all the verse and was one of the 6 kids who were recognized. Shay was the Princess' servant and one of the ten plague people. She sang in the choir. Both girls learned a lot and had fun.

Sophie and Mom

Sophie is now 8 pounds. She is 4.5 months old and a bit spoiled. She is fun to have around and keeps us all hopping. She had her last shots and met a 10 month old Rottie - she thought she would play little dog - big attitude with him. He looked confused and tried to love her a bit. Small dog syndrome..... sigh.

The Girls after their Competition

They were disappointed that their groups got Bronze but that always means there is more to learn. They did very well as individuals but some members of the group dances had trouble so the Bronze was fair.

Sophie

Since Sean can't have a baby brother he got a dog. He asked if he could name her something else. His suggestions were: Super Sophie Saves the Day and Seanie Sophie. She just seems like a Sophie to everyone so that's her name. I think it is due to her Sophia Lauren eyes. She is an excellant puppy and has been quite fun for all of us. She is enjoying her walks and already knows what treats are. Our tiles on the floor are about 13" square so you can guess how big she is from this picture. She is 2.5 months old. She is pappilion/poodle/lhasa apso/silkie terrier. You can't see the lhasa apso or poodle in her at all though. She has learned the art of shoe stealing and mitten stealing and her favourite toys are Char's old socks. Since she was not a pure bred, she wasn't too expensive. So hopefully that continues and we don't end up with vet bills we can't afford. Everyone is in love with her. Chantel was probably the most excited to see her. I hope you can come and meet her soon as she is quite charming.

The 'chick' pic

It might be vanity but I totally wanted to look like a girl riding my bike not abig dude. I think this gives enough evidence to that fact! I was shoulder checking before taking off, or backing it out of the parking space or something, kind of a funny stance - thanks Clar!

Hi everyone

I bet everyone is wondering if we are dead, no just busy busy busy ! Clarence and I ran away yesterday and had what may be the last ride till spring. Clarence took a couple pics. I have got to teach him how to use a camera !!!! Or at least remember that he doesn't know what he's doing when I hand it to him. He didn't use the high speed shutter here and there is a little blurr! I wasn't going fast at all - still in first gear in a parking lot near Cochrane. It was a nice ride though and we enjoyed ourselves very much.
