My Grandmother and I have tried to transplant these beauties over the years - they don't like it but wouldn't it be lovely if it worked? Such a lovely colour and so delicate.

Our latest Hike

A hot day to go on a long hike. How beautiful though. Sean walked almost the whole 8.2 kilometers. He was picked up for a tiny bit. He slept all the way home. Chantel found lots to take pictures of and so did Char.

Shay loves to practise snorkelling. What a hot streak we have had.

Whack a Mole Country style

Sean is waiting for a gopher to pop up out of the hole so he can whack it. We have a colony of them invading the backyard and eating anything and everything. I was whacking them with a waterbottle and they still would stick their heads up for more. Must be tasty flowers ! We have found the cure for gophers - buy a pellet gun - you'll never see one to shoot at!

Advanced Yeast Breads Project....not bad for her first try. Next time we will get her to make it for Easter. The Cloth in front says "Christ is Risen" in Ukrainian. Indeed He is Risen!!
